When we released Fidg’t last year we were ahead of the curve on some key concepts. One of those was providing analytics on your social graph. See this post. Now it looks like FriendFeed has caught on. I think they get it. People are fundamentally interested in themselves and their friends. The more data and visualizations you can provide people the more likely your social service is going to be sticky.
So, after much deliberation, and as we move closer to a public release, we are changing the name of the gearON project to Fidg’t. We are currently rolling out some new branding for the Fidg’t name, so if you are a beta tester, please bear with us while we transition to this new identity. Thanks!
Been some time since an update, but we’re finally almost ready to launch GearON. You’ll be able to find more information about the launch at gearon.net, where you can preview the service and request a password for the private beta.
